wobin is a 2.5D open-world action RPG on @RobinhoodCrypto chain where you raise a tiny duck and decide what kind of legend he becomes.
Choose between Ranger, Knight, Mage or Thief, then explore a hand-built world filled with forests, farms, villages, toll roads, enemies, quests and the Sheriff’s heavily guarded keep.
Fight bandits and creatures. Chop trees, mine ore, grow crops, craft equipment, build your home, train your Wobin and level up from a helpless duckling into a feared - or beloved - folk hero.
At the center of the game is the Honor × Heat system:
Honor tracks what the village thinks of you. Help people, complete quests and redistribute stolen wealth to earn discounts, gifts, shelter and access to new storylines.
Heat tracks how badly the Sheriff wants you caught. Rob merchants, intercept tax carts and break the law, and guards, wanted posters and bounty hunters begin appearing across the world.
You can rob the rich and feed the poor - or keep everything for yourself. Villagers remember who helped them, who betrayed them and how you behave when nobody is forcing you to be good.
The world continues moving around you through persistent day cycles, scheduled tax carts, living NPC routines, evolving relationships, dark contracts, farming, harvesting, home upgrades and branching quests.
Get caught by the law and you wake up in jail. Pay bail, wait out your sentence or find another way back into the woods.
No forced path. No progress wipes.
Just one smol Wobin, one living world and a choice:
become the village’s greatest hero or its most wanted outlaw. 🪶

The Mage Duck is playable now. Pick it at hero select and you fight with a staff instead of a blade or bow - every click casts a green nature-magic bolt that flies exactly where you point and hits the first foe in its path.
No ammo to manage, no arrows to buy. And unlike the bow, the bolt doesn't fall off with distance - full sting whether the fox is on top of you or across the clearing. You can cast on the move, too, so you're never rooted mid-fight.
Three ways to play the greenwood now: sword, bow, and staff. Pick your kind of trouble. 🪶
Your wolf stays with you now. Fixed companions snagging on trees and rocks or trailing half a screen behind - if one falls too far back, it catches up to your heel instead of getting stuck out in the woods.
It also won't wander off to solo an enemy pack anymore. It fights what's near you, guards your side, and moves when you move.
A companion that actually feels like one.
Big fights don't stutter anymore. We pooled the hit-sparks and the floating damage numbers, so nothing allocates mid-swing when six bandits pile on at once.
Same combat, steadier frames - you can fill the screen with foxes and wolves and the hit-feedback stays crisp instead of dropping frames right when it counts.
Swing away. It holds up.
Your progress follows you now. Every save - your purse, your homestead, quests, reputation - mirrors to the cloud under your profile name, so you can pick up on any device right where you left off.
Fixed the case that mattered most: logging in no longer risks overwriting a real save with an empty one. The cloud always wins on load, and a fresh name always starts a clean life - no inheriting someone else's world.
Play on your phone, finish on your desktop. It just carries.
The whole greenwood is one seamless map - no loading screens, no zone gates. Press M and it opens up: Village, Castle, Old Mine, Forest Shrine, Outlaw Camp, the Toll Gate on the road.
Every landmark is a real place you can walk to, not a menu. The mine has ore, the camp has outlaws, the Castle is where the Sheriff's gold ends up. Points of interest label themselves as you zoom in.
Active quests drop gold pins on the map, and you can set your own waypoint anywhere - it draws a line home so you never lose the thread out in the deep forest.
Hand coins to the poor, share your bounty, do people favors - generosity builds Honor.
Everything you do tracks on two meters: Honor with the people, Heat with the Sheriff. Give and you climb from nobody to folk hero; rob and stir up trouble and your Heat rises till the law comes looking.
It's not just a number - prices, gifts, and who comes hunting you all key off where you land. 🪶
Missions come from talking to people, not a quest board barking tasks at you.
They run from quick hunts and deliveries to full multi-stage story arcs with real branches - pay the debt, fight your way out, or steal the ledger and deal with the fallout later.
And it carries: how you close one mission changes what people offer you down the line. 🪶
Upgrades are now live.
Visit the training board and invest coin into permanent stat progression across Might, Vitality, Fortune, and Agility.
Each tier stacks with the last, improving combat output, survivability, movement, and reward efficiency. Bounties earned in the world feed directly back into your build, creating a clear loop from combat to progression.
The deeper you push into the Greenwood, the more your Wobin needs to evolve. 🪶
Every character in the world is interactive. Walk up, press E - talk, trade, gift, or rob them.
Conversations branch into quests and lore, and what you pick sticks: help someone and they warm to you, cross them and they'll hold it against you for days.
Reputation's wired into every interaction. 🪶
Rob the tax cart. 🏹
the Sheriff's gold rolls the high road at noon.
learn the route. wait in the ferns.
strike when the wheels slow.
haul off the strongbox, and the take is yours to spend - or carry it to the Friar and win the whole village to your name, coin by coin.
lie low till the heat fades. then do it all again. 🦆🪶
Token utility's coming - cosmetics, a marketplace, and gold to token sinks tied into the economy itself.
No date locked in yet, but we're building toward it.
Multiplayer we're starting with co-op and social stuff, like visiting each other's homesteads.
Proper real-time MP is a much bigger job, so that one's further down the line.🪶
Chopping.
the old wood stands where it always has.
take up the axe. find your rhythm.
swing until the trunk groans and falls.
stack the logs high - every wall, every fence, every home you'll ever raise starts here.
fell one, plant one. the forest remembers.🪶
Building .🔨
the greenwood gives, if you make it a home.
clear the ground. raise the frame.
swing the hammer till the walls stand.
till the plots, sow the seeds, plant a sapling that won't be a tree till you've slept a night or two - a homestead grows on your patience, not your gold.
rest easy by your own hearth. by dawn it's a little more yours. 🪶
How to get a Companion
New feature drop - here's the quick tutorial:
Head into the village and find the merchant stall.,
Buy the Bone Whistle - 180 coins.,
That's it. Once it's in your inventory, your companion auto-summons - no quest, no cooldown.,
From there, your wolf falls in at your heel. It hunts fox bandits and wolves on its own, pulls aggro off you, and deals its own damage in a fight. It's fully persistent too - saves with your world and syncs to the cloud, so it's waiting for you every time you log back in.
Go grab one. More companion types on the way.
Combat perf fix shipped.
Fights were dropping frames once things got busy. Digging in, the culprit was obvious: we were spawning a fresh particle emitter and a new damage-number Text object on every single hit. In a combo hitting 5+ enemies that's a burst of allocation → GC churn → frame hitches.
Fix: pooled both. Three shared emitters and a recycled text pool, reused instead of created/destroyed per hit. Zero per-hit allocation now. 🦆🪶
Patch notes 🪶
→ Companions. Whistle once and a wolf fights at your side. It'll drop a fox bandit while you catch your breath.
→ The Sheriff. He comes alone. No cart, no guards, just him - and a health bar that doesn't blink.
→ Mounts. Sound the horn, swing onto a forest stag, and cross the map in half the time.
→ Balance pass on enemy aggro + bounties.
More coming. The frontier's just getting started.
