There’s a lad at my kid’s school who tries to get on her table every lunchtime, who called her skinny when he first joined the school, and who generally seems to be following her around. He’s not done anything wrong as such, but she says he’s creepy and making her uncomfortable.

My kid is ten. Her year is ten and eleven year olds. She’s one of the more developed girls in her year, and I feel like this could be an issue for the next few years, but it highlights why parents need to teach their kids young about boundaries, relationships, and even sex ed.

My grandfather was Polish-Ukrainian. His relatives ended up on both sides of the border, all of them suffered under either Nazis or Soviets. What’s happening now is a continuation of what happened then. I’m heart broken for Ukrainians.

Science isn’t theory averse. It just doesn’t present facts without evidence.

Some of us struggle to get pregnant, and trying every month regardless, for years, is the only way we get a child. Some suffer losses and would do anything for any baby. If you're plotting to have a Cancer rather than a Scorpio, then you are a) privileged and b) superficial af.

Planning pregnancy so a child is born under a certain star sign is not eugenics. However, it is a) stupid and b) subject to a lot of luck as babies regularly come up to a month (or more) early or two weeks late. It also shows a ridiculous level of privilege.
