‼️We are appalled by the @EU_Commission announced decision to withdraw the proposal on #GreenClaims.

It represents a clear breach of institutional trust between the 🇪🇺 Parliament and the Commision, and it was taken against the interests of the co-legislators, disrespecting the mandate atributed by the vote in the plenary in December.

‼️Does the President @vonderleyen give more importance to the position of the EPP and the far right groups than to the mandate of the 🇪🇺 Parliament, or the platform that is the basis of her support? Where is the platform?

Let us be very clear: the EU Parliament has not requested to stop negotiations. This is fake news! The EP rapporteurs stand ready to continue as planned with the final negotiations on 23/6, for which we are confident that a final agreement can be found ⤵️

6/6 If this really happens the Commission under @vonderleyen would no longer act as an honest broker, but just as a collaborator of the EPP's political agenda.

5/6 If so, we expect to know from responsible Commissioner @JessikaRoswall exactly for what reasons such a decision would be taken. This shameless behaviour is unprecedented.
