Alright folks, gather round and let me tell you the story of (almost) the biggest engineering disaster I’ve ever had the misfortune of being involved in. It’s a tale of politics, architecture and the sunk cost fallacy [I’m drinking an Aberlour Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch]
In case you were wondering, Xcode 12.3 beta doesn't bring any new SwiftUI feature.
HOWEVER, there are tons of improvements to SwiftUI's documentation! 🎉
Let's highlight some of them!
🧵👇🏻
@SwiftUILab thanks for creating SwiftUI Companion! I'm wondering how did you manage to get indeterminate progress with LinearProgressViewStyle in your examples? This doesn't work on Xcode 12.1 on iOS 14.1 🤔
@olebegemann @twostraws I noticed the same issue. SwiftUI code states that selection should be Hashable (and String is), but it won't work with String, only with an Int value. For some reason I'm still not getting checkmark next to options though 🤷♂️
Today, I had a lot of fun at work building #OttoDIY with #arduino, you can see the result in video 🤖🥳 https://t.co/RC7YnPEL0Q. Thanks to @WojRutkowski for organizing the workshop! #lifeatexpedia
@MichaelCiurus Ah, that’s true. I used one of the services that send you notifications about it, but they are a bit pricy for hobby projects. The trial is a good option for your launch tho!
I created a proof of concept Xcode for iPad! Code is compiled on a Mac, which acts as a remote server. Generates an .ipa that is uploaded by the Mac, the iPad then installs it. 🚀
