@lukagordoncic@HornetsFTW@HornetsNationBR The guy who tailed off at the end and couldnt win either of the final two rookie of the month awards. Only won 3. Media darling.
@lukagordoncic@HornetsNationBR Flagg was too weak to finish the:
ACC Tourney
Summer league
All Star events
Half of February
His final game
Dude is injury prone. Sucks cause he would be amazing but the signs are telling.
The play-in format will be more beneficial with 32 teams soon but maybe NBA should look into adopting this to have 12 teams
top 4 seeds with a Rd1 bye and an extra quick round of playoffs, along with lowest seed eliminated in Rd1 given a mulligan. (credit for playing well in reg. season)
Two rounds of a max of 8 games, only adds potential of 1 extra game instead of current format of 7.
1st night
8/9-winner is 8 seed
10-rest
11/12-winner advance to face 10, loser eliminated
2nd night(B2B for 11/12)
8/9 loser-rest
11/12 vs 10-winner is 10 seed, loser advance to 8/9 loser
3rd night (NBA awards due or announced, results from previous two nights can have votes swayed)
rest for all teams
4th night
new8-rest
new10-rest
11/12/10 loser vs 8/9 loser-winner is 9 seed
Round 1, best of 3, 10 teams
1-rest this round
2-rest this round
3-rest this round
4-rest this round
5v10
6v9
7v8
2nd round, best of 5, 8 teams
(lowest eliminated seed in Rd1 advance)
1v(highest seed)
2v(2nd highest seed)
3v(3rd highest seed)
4v(will always be #5 seed)
3rd round, best of 7, 4 teams for semi-conference
4th round, best of 7, 2 teams for conference
5th round, best of 7, Title
8 seed similar to current, win 1/2
9 seed similar to current 7/8, win 1/2
10 seed similar to current 7/8, win 1/2
11/12 seed change to win first game then 1/2
(9/10 seed could be determined by total record in Rd1)
B2B for 11/12 could be given a day of rest, perhaps, depending on cities ability to play that night.
