Optimism about Canada reaches highest point in more than 8 years.

Today, 47% of Canadians say the country is headed in the right direction while 39% say it is on the wrong track.

Today, 59% approve of the job the government is doing, including 19% who strongly approve and 39% who mostly approve. Just 27% disapprove.

At 59%, this is the highest approval rating since August 2016 for the Trudeau government.
