1/10 I do agree that we need more *explicitly* stated queer characters in media, and that it's a cop-out to wait to declare characters queer after the fact, BUT I think we the audience need to adjust our thinking as well.
This was a close one!

@GerrySaintAmour I reckon what anyone says about me in *private* isn't any of my business. If they didn't like the work (and I'd hope a dissatisfied customer would say so and let me try to FIX it), I doubt they would commission me again anyway. If they said anything PUBLICALLY, that's different.
Dear anti-vaxxers: sure, you should have a right to not be injected with something you believe harmful ... but OTHERS should have a right to then consider you a public health threat, and so deny you space in their workplaces, homes, automobiles, etc.
My fourth guess was actually originally my third guess, but I second-guessed myself, dangit.

Dear healthcare/cosmetic companies: if you want me to believe your product works, don't use the exact same photo for the before & after images. Like, then it's obviously a photoshop job?๐คฃ Also, what's with these super-obviously edited videos using "Blur" to simulate clear skin?

Never say "Please don't cry" -- that's "Your crying is making me uncomfortable, and I want you to stop for MY comfort." Crying is ABOUT feeling better, helping the regulation of the parasympathetic nervous system. Instead, ask, "Is there anything I can do for you?"
