@ahcox Unfortunately, no. It is hard to sell the book anywhere else when you are "locked" into the Amazon printing on demand/Kindle ecosystem. Which one did you have in mind?
@SebLagarde I think the main argument against using a G-Buffer is that you want to render full res and not upscale or use more blurring ... games just look better without G-Buffer. This is why many of us have moved to Forward+ or Visibility Buffer ...
We -The Forge- are considering writing a new math library from scratch. We were thinking using ISPC for that. Is there already a math library that did that? We don't want to reinvent the wheel ... main idea is that we support intrinsics on mobile and console platforms well
@2Sexy4MyGPU I agree, this is why I am posting. The thing is there are all the intrinsics that are supported and I believe we still only use SSE2 or so ... it feels like we are missing out. ISPC could solve this for us.
