@Jhosep_gamer Does it rely on source code editing? Otherwise, how do you pass the heightmap from the actors' materials to the post-process? Is it something to do with "hijacking" an unused channel input perhaps....

Had some joy today trying mocap for the first time. In a day I took part in a military operation, had an electroshock therapy, been a pilot of a plane and a helicopter.
+ Done some surfing and played dice

Alongside my previous work, I was also working on a music video as a CGI Cinematographer and Lighting/Technical Artist. In two weeks the team produced a music video with a song of our choice. Chaotic at times, but an incredibly fun experience.

Now the "finisher ability" is done! Including the dynamic sequencer camera, snappy impact frames, and the ability to disguise as your target.

The further it gets, the more interesting it becomes. Once I adjust the logic for the reverse transition I can finally spend the remaining time on the actual "spice" of the effect - Impact Frames...and some decals...

Level Sequencer is such an interesting and powerful tool that can tie any scriptable actions to the timeline and activate with the player whenever it's called. Lots of work left on this project but I can't wait to see the end result. So fun!

Started working on a new project prior to the graduation. Playing dynamic level sequences anywhere in the level is such a neat feature. Now that the base animations are in place, I can start working on particles and post-processing.

A follow-up post to the previous stylized film camera transition. This time as part of the gameplay. While not much camera work was done, this experience gave me a foundational understanding of integrating timeline sequences into the code. My next goal is to focus on "Combat FX".
After a break and a few weeks of work, I finished the project that I started during the graduate show exploring cinematics and leveraging my post-processing skills. It's a stylized film camera post-process effect inspired by the anime opening of "Ano Natsu de Matteru"
