@JoannaKobierska I think you're right for most instances, but practical effects can add a real level of physicality for close up shots and shots where people are touching something. The best looking films will be a seamless blend of both.

@WryCritic Interestingly, the science museum next door to my workplace (a nhm) has a lot of constant updating. I think it's just difference in donations and how funds are handled by institutions.

@WryCritic Which art museums? In my experience most museums are in similar funding boats. If anything, I guess more rich people are art collectors and therefore are more likely to donate their collections when they die or donate in general.
