@GloriousEggroll Do people not think it’s a bit ridiculous if what you are upset about is the title? If a different title would make you feel better, that says more about yourself than anything else.
@MadamSavvy The original creator is a bitter sack of shit that’s hated both new games already. Doesn’t mean shit. People need to calm down about all this, it’s not that serious
@naheshas Probably because in the originally games, female characters were developed as secondary characters to the male leads. Obviously if a story is to continue, the secondary character moving to the lead makes sense. This doesn’t completely apply to GOW but I still like it
@Variety Convinced Disney knew and doesn’t care about box office. Marketing was weird for this movie. Feels like it was just them putting something out to say they did, knowing they’d cash in like crazy on Grogu merch. Also with the smaller budget I don’t think they’re as concerned
@pedrodevotee Haven’t had a chance to watch it yet but from what I’ve heard, it’s not the most “film-nerd” good movie. It’s just fun Star Wars. Audiences will love that shit but critics may be more “critical”
@HoodiiAnt_ I do think rob can be decent, but he’s far away, and we needed him to be good now. But agreed on Joan. I hope he can get some solid rotation minutes next year.
@HoodiiAnt_ Yeah flashes, but if you’re a team that’s really trying to win you don’t have the minutes to spare on that many projects. Joan is showing more promise than him and is barely getting the minutes. It’s toeing the line between developing and trying to win now. Same with Dilly
@tornadojally Oh 100%. I’m personally kinda tired of the Filoni-verse stuff as well. And I get what you’re saying - at least with mindless fun, I can’t get actually mad at it when it makes narrative decisions. Unlike TROS which pissed me off
