The weather is now starting to change and though there's no immediate likelihood of ice, be aware of slippery leaves and standing water. Always drive within your and your vehicles capability.

The overnight snow and low temperatures have made the roads extremely hazardous, don't get in your car today unless you really need to and if you have to drive make sure the windows and lights are clear of ice and snow.
Weather conditions continue to be very variable, keep a close watch on the conditions that you may encounter on any trip and plan for the worse; always keep some warm clothing in the car and make sure your mobile phone is fully charged before every trip.
The weather continues to improve and many more people are taking to walking and riding bicycles than ever before so be extra careful whilst out in your car. Remember to leave a full 1.5 metres between you and any cyclist.

We are still in Lock-down however that means that if you do drive be even more vigilant as people will not necessarily be concentrating and can easily be distracted by apparently lighter loaded roads. Observation is the key!
The weather is at last improving, giving us some respite from the other issues in our lives at this time however don't be tempted to drive unnecessarily, we all need to do our part and remain out of circulation as much as possible.
The roads are a great deal quieter at the moment however do remember that people are possibly distracted at the moment and consequently if your are driving be extra vigilant!

Watch out for leaves and standing water on the road. Drive at appropriate speeds and be careful, if you have to go through any water, that may make your brakes wet, slight brake pressure for a hundred yards afterwards to dry them off otherwise they may not stop you when you want
