0.5ha of the Dee Estuary SAC is now set to be destroyed on Wirral. @WildJustice_org have been helping to reverse this nationally significant precedent.

🚨BREAKING: hugely welcome announcement from @UnitedUtilities at their AGM today that they are pulling the plug on grouse shooting.

Once shooting leases come to an end, they will not be renewed. Instead, the company's moors will be restored for nature, climate and people.

The sea holly (Eryngium maritimum) is starting to bloom in Norfolk. In days gone by, parts of the plant were consumed as an aphrodisiac and the roots were candied as a sweet. I prefer looking at it.
