Watch it all go to shit, point out that it’s all going to shit, point out this is what they wanted, point out they are responsible for the shit, point out we tried to stop it all going to shit, point out we told them so.
That’s my current mood.
The opposition can no longer influence the course of Brexit. They need to regroup, and unite to oppose Johnson. They should be relentless in pointing out the flaws in Johnson's Brexit, and its likely impact. 4/
@AndrewX36446234 @Flic09 If he’d murdered them because they were black then of course he’s racist. But this black killer wasn’t acting from ideology & it’s irresponsible & incredibly disrespectful to attempt to label it as such. Far Right a tiny minority in this country desperate for support. Pathetic.
@Flic09 @FranS199@groktrek Paid trolls pushing “crisis actor” trope about the parents & pitching their no hate message as support for Islam rather than the pushback it is against attempts to bring a race/religion motive to the murders. It’s insidious & disgusting. Disturbing too to see real ppl chiming in.
@TonyChestnut9@SibilaboCeraula@LamplWenda@MartinDaubney There is no legal obligation for refugees to seek asylum in the first safe country they reach. There is a legal obligation on the country where they apply for asylum to handle their claim as long as they make it on entry. common misinterpretation of UNHCR that’s been weaponised.
@JulieGeeWales@Snoffa_49@PrfChrisPainter Starmer did the groundwork for the whole thing a year ago - his forensic questioning of Johnson in Parliament elicited the first lies. He deserves the credit.
@TonyChestnut9@SibilaboCeraula@LamplWenda@MartinDaubney I received a Chief Constable commendation for leading successful investigations into illegal immigration so I certainly know more than you do son. Illegal immigration & asylum seekers are different things but we’ll get much more of both now. Enjoy!
@TonyChestnut9@SibilaboCeraula@LamplWenda@MartinDaubney Where did I say I thought we’d go back in? We’re living with your decision now & everyone needs to see & suffer the impact. They can’t stop the boats, more immigrants are here & more will come so suck it up buttercup.
@PeteNorth303 They’re not saying anything of the sort. They’re having to speak out coz ppl like u want to use their personal tragedy to further your own agenda & misrepresent the murders as race/religion motivated. It’s your hate they want to stop the spread of. Shame on you.
@Daria_QT Been pointing out all day the massive increase in boats/asylum seekers ppl are outraged by coz of Brexit & Johnson’s rejection of EU offer to retain Dover Agreement, they said they knew what they were voting for & dismissed as Project Fear info on this. So suck it up buttercup.
@TonyChestnut9@SibilaboCeraula@LamplWenda@MartinDaubney U got what u wanted, said u knew what u voted for, don’t bleat now about more immigrants & increased strain on public purse. U voted it in. 200k claims backlog already - 2 yrs to process. We don’t allow work til claim done & provide housing & benefits til then. Good work 👏😆
@TonyChestnut9@SibilaboCeraula@LamplWenda@MartinDaubney Brexit caused this increase in asylum seekers. It’s hilarious you want fewer immigrants here but Brexit means we’ve got & will get more & more. If u had critical thinking instead of fear u might have absorbed the info on this that were dismissed as Project Fear. Learn the lesson
@Borisnose2 increased boats/asylum claims result of Brexit & Johnson rejecting EU offer to keep Dover Agreement, we cld return asylum seekers to EU. We wanted control of borders but backfired. 72% got LTR last 2 years, up from 40% preBrexit, coz 98% less returned to France. We voted for this
@TonyChestnut9@SibilaboCeraula@LamplWenda@MartinDaubney I’m not so frightened by risk an Islamic terrorist slips thro w/genuine asylum seekers that I want all refugees prevented coming here but u are. That’s cowering. Brexit = 72% asylum claims granted last 2 years, from 40%, coz returns to France 98% down. Backfired hasn’t it? 👏
No wonder u feared a Final Say vote, even the racists wld opt to stay in if you’d told them sovereignty & taking back control wld mean more asylum seekers coming & staying here. Hilarious. U dismissed as Project Fear attempts to educate this & more impacts. Take responsibility.
@MartinDaubney preBrexit 40% of asylum claims granted & denied claims = 6% of deportations. PostBrexit, 72% successful 20 & 21, attributed to 98% reduction in no returned to France. 98%!! Leave votes for fewer immigrants here backfired massively, almost double being accepted.
You spread misinformation France/EU weren’t doing enough to stop asylum seekers reaching our shores & that we would do a better job on our own. Ha ha ha haaaaaa! I declare this a Brexit Benefit and thank those who voted for it. You did say you knew what you were voting for yes?
@williamrlward @ukblok26@jamesdavidmagee@MartinDaubney Indeed about 6% of immigration deportations failed asylum seekers pre-Brexit. That’s shot up to 40% since due to increased nos coming. 72% of asylum claims granted 21 & 22, highest ever, up from 40% & ascribed to 98% reduction in returns to EU. You knew what you were voting for.
@ukblok26 @williamrlward @jamesdavidmagee@MartinDaubney Jesus, he doesn’t understand they’re not arrested because it’s not a crime to land here & claim asylum. Some for sure abuse that & claim without grounds - we’ve made that easier too w/Brexit. Hilarious they won’t stand up for what they insisted they knew they were voting for.
@williamrlward @ukblok26@jamesdavidmagee@MartinDaubney It isn’t end of tho as our laws allow entry here to claim asylum. How thick are you? They haven’t broken immigration law in UN countries they pass through, as has already been explained to you, the legality relates to country’s obligation if asylum claimed, not to individuals.
