🌊 We made a splash on Day 2️⃣ of #AWIDForum2024! 💦
✅ Our leader Bonang from DCU Taiwan stood out in the session co-organized by IDWF, @DisabRightsFund, and @CenterforInclu1: "Transforming care systems to advance the rights and dignity of both providers and receivers of care and support."
✅ Our representatives from the MENA region led a meaningful discussion on migration policies at an interactive workshop convened by @WomenMigration.
✅ Our delegation rallied under the call: "Care for Those Who Care for You."
💖 #RisingTogether at the world’s largest feminist gathering!
The session explored urgent issues like the climate crisis, extractivism, labor rights, social protections, economic and trade policies, and war and conflict, paving the way for feminist approaches to economic justice and rebuilding. #AWIDForum2024@AWID@SolidarityCntr@IDWFED
At the 15th #AWIDForum2024 in Bangkok, WIMN held a workshop titled “Building Feminist Alliances for Trade Justice: Towards Radical Economic Healing and Rebuilding.” Women and gender-diverse people united to define intersectional feminist demands on displacement and migration.
Together with @WalkFree and @WomenMigration , we gather to build solidarity and connection, engaging in activities that highlight the key challenges faced by women and gender-diverse individuals in migration and displacement. ##amkafrica#FFMD2024#FeministForumMigration
