We must not allow trailblazing women to be removed from our history in any way. Keep Mrs Pankhurst where she belongs, by the Parliament she revolutionised.

[Durham Miners' Gala @DurhamGala]

The @DurhamMiners were proud to welcome the wonderful @BannerWomen to the #DurhamMinersGala. They're just getting started. Give them your support.

[The Big Meeting @durhamgalafilm]

"The elite of Britain are trying to eradicate the real working-class culture. What we need to do with institutions like the @DurhamGala is preserve our story on our own terms."

There will be more great quotes from @paulmasonnews in our documentary!

They keep asking us "where are you based" when I talk about the community they say "which community?" We are from everywhere. The community is the community of women in coal mining towns. We're carrying this one, today for those that can't carry it anymore. ✊Solidarity forever✊
