LOOK: Lava effusion with Strombolian activity at the summit crater of Mayon Volcano at 9:30 PM to 11:30 PM last night, July 17, 2026.

Effusive eruption at Mayon Volcano continues for the 194th consecutive day, generating incandescent lava flows, pyroclastic density currents or "uson", and rockfalls.

Alert Level 3 prevails over Mayon, and entry into the 6-km Permanent Danger Zone must be prohibited.
