@EdensRelic@homeofdcu@TheInSneider Gunn confirmed that the animated Mister Miracle animated series is canon to the DCU, so having Big Barda appear in Man of Tomorrow and eventually leading to the New Gods, Apokolips and Darkseid would fit into the Gods & Monsters storyline of Chapter 1 of the DCU.
@Show_Out_King Yes that’s true. Diana’s height has changed with each era in comics history. Her long standing height at 5’ 11” should at least be the benchmark for her. Superheroes feel otherworldly and giants amongst men so their stature should feel larger than life.
@EdensRelic@homeofdcu@TheInSneider I’m truly hoping you are not right lol. She is my icon and would like to see her start out not as a supporting character.
@homeofdcu@TheInSneider Part 2 of 2: The character description of a “tall warrior hero” could also easily apply to Big Barda (7’ 0”) or even Maxima (6’ 2”). They both have alien origins and would fit the larger storyline for Man of Tomorrow (Brainiac, Planet Salvation).
@homeofdcu@TheInSneider Part 1 of 2: While I would absolutely LOVE to have Wonder Woman (6’ 2” in the comics) join the DCU sooner rather than later, I would prefer she star in her own solo film at the onset and not as a supporting character to Superman.
@BeauDemayo@DCOfficial@MarvelStudios I’m a huge Star Trek fan and I connected more with Superman but I did enjoy Fantastic Four (similar to my enjoyment of Star Wars).
@Graizur@felipe_illaart This is a very interesting theory. And while I loved Gal’s Wonder Woman, Snyder/Jenkins missed the mark on her portrayal:
-Made of clay origin
-Greek Gods (still alive)
-Blue eyes
-Power/strength level on par with Superman
-Able to fly (from the beginning)
-Natural born leader
FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION
DCU fancasting of @wonderwoman with @jessicagreen (32, 5’ 9”). As a reminder: this is MY FANCAST. You do not have to agree and that’s okay. I have many others on my IG page. I like holding fancasting auditions.

@Kat_n_Hat26@DCFilmNews@FallonTonight Curious, you picked Midnighter for him over so many other characters in DC. Midnighter is 6’ 5” (compared to Batman who is 6’ 2”) and just as much a vigilante as Batman is but more physically imposing. So if you didn’t think he could play Batman based on his size? Typecasting?
@Kat_n_Hat26@DCFilmNews@FallonTonight Indeed and for a shorter actor (anyone less than 6’ 4”), this can be manipulated with footwear, forced perspective, camera angles, or cgi.
@batmanfan_55@DCFilmNews@FallonTonight I don’t think it was intentional disrespect. He also did not mention Michael Keaton and he had a longer legacy playing Batman.
@felipe_illaart Would it be possible from you to do concept art of Frida Gustavsson as Wonder Woman. She’s 32, 6’ 1” and has appeared in Vikings: Valhalla, Dampyr, The Witcher, and Faithless.
