Incorporating AVID WICOR strategies into our word study. We are using organization with webs, writing through pictorial rep, collaborating as teams. Each group had a specific marker color so we could see which team was able to come up with the most as they rotated to each web

We extended a 3-act math activity in which a girl used cubes to measure her height. I then challenged students to figure out their own height in cubes #inquiry
We are studying organismβs impact on the environment. This group redesigned their original design to try and replicate a beaverβs dam. Unfortunately the best laid plans of mice and men go awry π
