@InfinitelyManic @Livinfree20@RealMattFradd I mean that they can believe accurately in the Trinity, baptism, but are incorrect when it comes to other very important things like the Eucharist, justification, etc
@InfinitelyManic @Livinfree20@RealMattFradd God is one being, but He exists in three co-equal person; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each is a distinct person but shares in the same being, or substance, that is God.
@InfinitelyManic @Livinfree20@RealMattFradd You can recognize that the church killed heretics in the 1300s, know it doesn't make sense to do it now, and still be a Christian
@InfinitelyManic @Livinfree20@RealMattFradd I trust the holy Spirit to guide the Church, I am also not above knowing that the church's members are imperfect and therefore can do things that aren't always the best course of action.
Well you can't reject the Trinity and be a Christian
@InfinitelyManic @Livinfree20@RealMattFradd No because those churches have broken off from the Catholic Church. Protastaism is separate from Catholicism. We are talking about Prots so that is itself a multi faced diamond
@InfinitelyManic @Livinfree20@RealMattFradd Protestantism endorsed and engaged in torture of heretics and witchcraft
Also why must a Churches members never ever do something you think is wrong for it to be true?
@InfinitelyManic @Livinfree20@RealMattFradd God is one being, but He exists in three co-equal person; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each is a distinct person but shares in the same being, or substance, that is God.
@InfinitelyManic @Livinfree20@RealMattFradd Why does the church members have to have never ever executed or tortured heretics/witches in its existence for it to be true?
@InfinitelyManic @Livinfree20@RealMattFradd The Protastaism church endorsed and engaged in torture and execution of heretics and witchcraft.
None of these churches are as perfect as you are unfortunately
