Every year I read a lot of grad school applications from accomplished people that don't give me the info I'm looking for. It feels like a major hidden curriculum thing. So here's (my opinion on) how to write a great Statement of Purpose/Research for a PhD program. 🧵 1/
everything’s all good. just a spill with my mum and it’s not threatening. but sitting for the results in the er is nerve wracking when i hate hospitals. so thinking about it in terms of stories and movies helps take my mind off where i am.
i do 31 nights of horror through october. and tbh i never really understood why hospitals were a popular setting. sure they’re creepy and full of twists/turns. but it’s really the echoing sounds that get you. mutters, electroids, wheels…it just blurs and it’s terrifying.
please i am literally crying. i grew up watching Avatar as a kid and being amazed by the powerful storytelling and beautiful cgi. if you have a theater playing the rerelease in 3d, it is well worth it. if not for that alone, than the new additions even from extended cut.
