Oh the joy and blessings that flow from walking in the light of God’s countenance. Psalm 89:15 “Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! They walk, O Lord, in the light of Your countenance.” #GodLovesYou#TheBible#Hope#BodyLife
Augustine once said, “Thou hast formed us for Thyself, and our hearts are restless till they find rest in Thee.” God’s Word affirms Augustine statement in Matthew 11:28-30. True rest from this weary and evil world can only be found in the arms of Jesus. #thebible#JesusLovesYou
Godly leadership starts first with consistent prayer and a deeply disciplined time of study in God’s Word. Only then can a leader lead well.

1/3 I encourage you to go read Psalms 22. It was written some 800 years before the crucifixion of Christ. King David would have had no way of knowing what crucifixion was because crucifixion had yet to be invented.
2/3 Yet, he paints the very picture of what would happen to Christ Jesus as he is lamenting to God in verses 14-18. In verse 1 he opens the Psalms with the very words Jesus would use on the cross ”My God, My God, why have You forsaken me.”
