Investigative Journalist | Author | Director | Host of the Trish Wood Is Critical Podcast - free speech absolutist, early COVID dissident, truth over tribe
FWIW - tomorrow morning I am posting a SS outlining my reasons for quitting the podcast -- for the near future. It's been a fulfilling six years but indy media is taking a dark turn and I want no part of it. I am throttled here so do re-post this if you are so inclined. My 28 T followers are prevented from seeing my work.
@BeezlyKre Well, the Robinson family social media proves she misheard, was misdirected or is lying. Tyler can shoot. Has she even read the police documents or talked to any forensic people at all?
The comments on this video explain why Canada is screwed. We are self-loathing assholes who think we don't deserve a decent life. No sympathy for a young person who wants we we boomers had handed to us.
🚨 CANADIANS ARE BREAKING DOWN ON CAMERA
And it’s truly sad that social media is now flooded with regular people falling apart like this.
This guy and his wife pull in six figures. They’re “lower upper class.”
He just left the grocery store and he’s sitting in his truck, emotional:
“How are people making $60k, $70k, even $80k a year fucking surviving in Canada right now?”
He’s struggling to pay for groceries.
$5 broccoli.
Strawberries that rot in three days.
“Something’s gotta change… this isn’t sustainable for anybody.”
These aren’t the “poor.” These are the people who are supposed to be doing okay.
Liberalism did this.
The cost of living crisis they created, the inflation they ignored, the policies that crushed productivity and drove prices through the roof — this is the result.
While they lecture us about “climate” and “equity,” real Canadians are in their cars after grocery shopping, breaking down.
This is what a recession looks like when it hits normal people.
If you’re feeling this too — you’re not weak. You’re awake.

Remember the bird autist? His name is Samuel. He’s 11. And good news! Everyone loves him, respects him, he’s won the acknowledgement of his peers, and everything wonderful is going for him. An actual feel good story with no twists. Just winning. 👏🏼❤️
Shawn Ryan interviews Hunter Biden and doesn’t mention anything about the underage girls on the infamous laptop.
A few weeks later, MAGA are pedophiles and Ana Kasparian is amazing.
Are you seeing the op yet?
@VoxxPersona@TuckerCarlson I do have a soft spot for Tucker. He was so good during COVID and has been brave on foreign policy. Plus his dogs sleep on the bed.:)
I hope the great @TuckerCarlson takes time to read this. He is one of the few maintaining credibility. How can people with a journalism background possibly support what passes for indy media this days?
Here is the link to my reasons for ending the podcast, FWIW. Ironically, the throttling of my account here went into the decision but was not a prime reason. We are in trouble, folks. And indy media, as it operates now, will not save us.

@Kelleyswords@LionelMedia@RealCandaceO@FBIDirectorKash@FBI That ballistics report does not say what you think it says. It was a neutral finding. Don't you think if this was a grand conspiracy they would have taken more care to match the two? Honestly. Run the report through Grok. You are reading it wrong.
Michael McCoy was on his phone calling Erika to tell her Charlie had been shot. It was in the plan should anything happen. Any sane, logical person understood that. The people who think it is sinister are listening to the wrong podcasts, including you. This will be pretty embarrassing for a lot of powerful people when Robinson's trial gets underway and witnesses can finally speak.
My latest for @quillette, on lessons for journalists to prevent the next unmarked-graves-type social panic. Lesson #1: Stop treating Indigenous sources as if they were sacred mystics who channel unfalsifiable "knowings." Like all of us, they make mistakes

In 2024, the Canadian Medical Association issued a statement calling puberty blockers and cross sex hormones for kids “evidence based.”
Which means the CMA doesn’t understand what evidence based medicine even is.
When every single systematic review in existence finds the evidence for a treatment low to very low quality, you simply cannot call the treatment evidence based.
How on earth are we supposed to trust these people?
Link to the full episode with @thesovereignceo below. It was an excellent conversation!
On our monthly No One Gets Left Behind episode we are pleased to welcome Dan Hartman to the show!
