FWIW - tomorrow morning I am posting a SS outlining my reasons for quitting the podcast -- for the near future. It's been a fulfilling six years but indy media is taking a dark turn and I want no part of it. I am throttled here so do re-post this if you are so inclined. My 28 T followers are prevented from seeing my work.
@according2_taz Diana received massive coverage because she married the future King. Harry and Meghan actively seek attention to monetize and then get mad and play victim. Charles is wrong about this.
Imagine a group of powerful, well-connected anorexics gather and formulate a plot to reject the psychiatric framing of anorexia and turn their illness into a healthy identity.
They make it discrimination and bigotry to call anorexia a mental disorder and frame access to liposuction and Ozempic as medically necessary and a human right.
The whole world goes along with this.
In the field of anorexia-affirming care, an anorexic receives immediate affirmation of her anorexic identity and unfettered access to the weight-loss medical treatments that her disorder demands.
No psychotherapeutic attempt is made to loosen the grip of the belief.
Then, instead of measuring success by objective outcomes such as physical health and quality of life, researchers in the field opt for self-report: in other words, after giving the anorexic the very treatments that her disorder compels her to seek, the researchers ask her if she is happy.
When she says yes, this confirms that Ozempic and liposuction are beneficial and appropriate treatments for anorexia.
That is the medical world’s current approach to managing the trans phenomenon.

Four months and six days after tragically losing my soul dog and wondering if I could ever risk loving a dog again, I adopted this bonded pair who were found together as strays roaming the streets. My ❤️ is full.
@barristerlawusa Spencer is damaged goods from a dysfunctional family and the treacherous boarding school system. He admits to having been assaulted and likely has a severe personality and attachment disorder given his four marriages. Not a good judge of anything. Brilliant writer, though.
@benonwine You are correct and I remember it well. Prince Charles' trip to Paris to bring her home was a noble gesture. Her brother is a lunatic driven mad by the cruelty of boarding school, sexual assault there and grief over his sister's death. This is a spiteful, nasty book.
(Former RAF) Wethersfield has 17 new minibuses to ferry 800 illegal migrants into nearby towns.
The local public bus service to Braintree has been stopped.
The migrants have their own GP surgery and nurses. 20% have TB, a disease eradicated in the UK.
Sometimes, I wonder whether this is an experiment to see how much provocation the British people can take before they finally snap.
What do you think?
Piddington epitomises the problem. Here you have a quintessential English village, which you say will be ruined. It will cease to be. It won't be Piddington. It will be some kind of dystopian representation of North Africa or the Middle East or some Middle Eastern country in the heart of the British countryside, inhabited not by the best people coming from North Africa or the Middle East, but actually people who've broken into the country illegally. And this is what the government is failing to recognise. It doesn't have to be fair... in the way that it abuses the British people. What it has to do is stop the abuse of the British people in the first place. These illegal migrants shouldn't be allowed into the country full stop. And if anyone gets past border control, they should then be detained and deported, kept under lock and key until they go home. End of story. That's it.
The good news is you can see him back up walking 10 days later.
He is still very ginger on his feet.
Mr Big will hopefully continue to improve. He’s a very very good boy (5/5)
I’m hardly a natural cheerleader for King Charles. If I’d had my way, The Queen would have lived forever.
But I find this Spencer family book on Diana pretty grim.
Dragging up explosive private conversations allegedly had, decades later, knowing the King can hardly sit down and publicly litigate every allegation, leaves a very bad taste.
Diana deserves to be remembered as a person, not endlessly mined for fresh rounds of grievance and book sales.
It increasingly feels as though the lesson learned from Prince Harry is that private family pain can be packaged, promoted and sold.
Whatever you think of Charles, surely there comes a point where Diana should be allowed to rest.

Not stopping means they want the children conveyed to school with a police escort, lights flashing -- like an ambulance. The Sussex duo needs psychiatric help at this point. Their children are growing up in total fear - sacrificed so their parents can feel important. @royalist
Harry and Meghan pulled their kids out of school after two days, because the 'convoy' of vehicles conveying the two young children to school had to stop in traffic. Their private security declares it is a risk to stop at lights or have to wait in rush-hour traffic. Meghan and Harry expect their children to be rushed to and from school with wailing police sirens pushing them past all other traffic. Being stopped in traffic makes them a 'sitting duck' we are told.
But consider, if you will, how often were the children in a vehicle in heavy traffic when making frequent trips from Montecito to Los Angeles? It wasn't an issue then. Why is it an issue now? They are not in the metropolitan London area, they are out in the countryside.
