@afneil We should loan them to the Ukrainians who would covert them to robotic technology so the noise issue disappears. It would probably take them only six months to figure out this solution..
The moment of one of today’s Russian strikes on Kyiv.
I can see that fewer and fewer people are reading news from Ukraine. I understand that on a Sunday morning, people don’t want to read about war. They want to sleep a little longer, drink good coffee, and sit in the sun. I understand that. The algorithms on X limit content about war, destruction, and suffering. You have to make an effort to even see this information.
All of this is understandable on a human level. But unfortunately, if you remove Putin and the war from your information feed, they do not disappear from reality.
Putin is a sadist and a maniac. He is a threat to all of humanity.
There needs to be active resistance. News from Ukraine needs to be shared. People need to keep their focus.
Despite a sleepless night, I’m still here. And I’m grateful to everyone who continues to stand with us.
One day, we’ll drink morning coffee together in a beautiful, peaceful Kyiv.
@WW3finalboss It's very good news but President Zekensky admitted in the last few days they have gained ground as well as losing ground so overall the position has not changed. It's tough for Ukraine because of their manpower crisis.
@I_am_Roxanne_1@IRanMediaco Your President started it so he really have to finish it - properly. The USA actually needs it to be open for aluminium and fertiliser supplies.
@mog_russEN What is Russia's priority? It's certainly not the welfare and prosperity of its people when all of its resources go to the military. It needs to rethink it's strategy or it will implode.
@WesleyJBaker @RachelA1892 Have you completely forgotten the banking fiasco in 2008 when Northern Rock and NatWest has to be bailed out by the state? The UK haa never recovered from that event which caused a 15% decline in GDP. The biggest hit to the economy since the WWII.
The we had Covid..
@afneil When you also add the costs of replacing wind farms due to physical obsolesence (after 25 years or earlier due to salt damage), the whole thinking behind renewables is mad. The electorate should have had a vote wherher to abandon carbon as the costs are so spectacularly huge.
@MelJStride You can't grow the economy by increasing taxes. It's a contradiction to economic logic because money is being taken out of the economy. So reducing M2 money supply will be a disaster for the UK.
@JPLindsley And the Chinese are proposing a giant new embassy in the middle of London's financial district near sensitive communications. People not happy about it.
