Pls give the NHS a chance to save lives. They are working around the clock without protective gear & asked to isolate themselves away from their families. They are sacrificing their lives to protect you. #StayAtHomeSaveLives#lockdownUKnow@BorisJohnson https://t.co/eYxxLOReo8
@TableTennisENG@OrmesbyTTC Have all the the results for November been entered? Few players have mentioned that their points are not right and results are missing?
Fantastic news from Slovakia, where Charlotte Bardsley is the Junior Girls' Singles CHAMPION!! ๐ฅ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ๐

@seonemesis@KingfisherTTC@BenjaminGreveTT@TableTennisENG The point of the rating system is to try and reflect the relative strength of all the players. If two cadets play each other in a junior event, it does not make sense their cadet points would not alter as well.
@TorbayTTAcademy@joolaplymouth@TableTennisENG@Whiting_SWestTT A few years ago we had regional coaches - Midlands, South West etc. This was stopped. Then became a few TDCs.. this was stopped after a few years.. then centre of excellence?.. now this is stopped. Is this progress?
@OrmesbyTTC@seonemesis@HenryArthur1975@KingfisherTTC@TableTennisENG Fair point - but beyond the annoyance of not getting your deserved ranking, currently it is not working well enough to be used as the basis for important decisions around which players can be in which competitions. Hence even more frustration for players etc.
@seonemesis@HenryArthur1975@OrmesbyTTC@KingfisherTTC@TableTennisENG We probably need to reduce expectations on the ultimate accuracy.. there have always been issues over the years whatever the apparent "upgrade"
So given the inherent inaccurate nature then they should be used much less for tournament entry decisions, national awards etc..
@OrmesbyTTC Did actually think the update notification was a link to "the updated rankings", not just another statement about a further delay. Though one good thing about the new sport 80 system is you can see the results of every player ๐
