#SaveSnuggles is bigger than one family and one dog. It is about what happens when corrupt, power-hungry government officials realize they can twist words, manipulate circumstances, bleed a family financially, and use bureaucracy as a weapon against the very people they are supposed to serve.
Let me make one thing absolutely clear: Snuggles is not dangerous. Hard stop.
A livestock guardian dog doing what livestock guardian dogs are bred to do does not make him a dangerous animal. The danger here is the corrupt, tyrannical government in Pima County willing to take an ordinary family’s dog, hold him indefinitely, drain that family of tens of thousands of dollars, withhold answers and proof of life, and use its power to keep the nightmare going.
Snuggles isn’t the threat. A government willing to do this to an ordinary family is!
This was never about public safety. It is about bureaucratic idiots who know nothing about farm life taking an unfortunate situation and twisting it into justification for their illegal and criminal actions!
This happened to our family with #SaveLucy. It is happening to Snuggles. And it is happening across this country to people who are threatened, silenced, financially destroyed, or simply cannot afford to fight back.
Families who raise their own food, protect their livestock, live off their land, and refuse to submit to government overreach should not be treated like criminals!
Enough is enough.
We will not be intimidated. We will not be bullied into silence. And we will not stop calling out corruption, scandal, abuse of power, and tyrannical government overreach when we see it.
Snuggles is not dangerous. But unchecked government power absolutely is
Yesterday it was #saveLucy.
Today it is #saveSnuggles and his family.
Tomorrow, it could be yours.

They're not freezing your rent, they're freezing your housing providers' income, while their expenses keep increasing.
The point isn't to make your housing affordable, it's to make providing housing financially inviable, so government(s) can seize the unmanageable properties.
Our lack of financial literacy is going to destroy us.

NEW DRUG ALERT FOR DOGS – FDA JUST APPROVED A YEAR-LONG POISON INJECTION
Dr. Maginess is sounding the alarm on Bravecto Quantum — the new injectable PESTICIDE “flea & tick shot” that is causing SEIZURES and DEATH.
It pumps a pesticide straight into your dog’s body… and it lasts 12 full months.
“As a veterinarian, I find this new drug deeply concerning. Injecting a pesticide into your dog that lasts a full year is a 12-month gamble with your dog’s nervous system. We already have documented seizures, tremors, even FATALITIES from drugs in this class.”
Once it’s in? You can’t just wash it off. You can’t reverse it. All you can do is watch and hope.
**Your dog’s blood becomes toxic for a YEAR.**
**Their nervous system pays the price.**
This isn’t protection — it’s Russian roulette with your best friend.
**DO NOT let your vet talk you into this.**
Share this before another dog suffers.

Retweet and let’s spread wild 🔥
I’m a stay at home mom. I homeschool our four young children. I manage our homestead and a large garden that accounts for 50% of our family’s food. I run a business and serve in our churches music ministry and at the local community theater. Like many of us, I’m busy. I find it hard to sit down and gather my thoughts long enough to write anything organized or coherent. But what is happening in our lives regarding Lucy and my husband is enough to make me take the time.
This is our first year studying the Constitution in our homeschool. I find it wholly important that we teach our children to truly understand individual liberty, natural rights, and the balance between government power and the freedom of ordinary people to live their lives in peace.
Ironically, while teaching these very principles, we have found ourselves living through a situation that has challenged them in real time.
At the heart of the American dream is the idea that we should be able to live our lives in peace without unnecessary intrusion from the government or otherwise.
That principle is woven throughout our Constitution and Bill of Rights.
The Fourth Amendment protects the right of people to be secure in their homes and property from unreasonable intrusion by the government.
The Ninth and Fourteenth Amendments recognizing that Americans possess natural rights beyond those specifically listed in the Constitution—rights like the freedom to peacefully live on your property, rights to personal privacy, to raise your children according to your values, build a homestead, make decisions for your family, and exist without constant harassment or interference from neighbors or government officials.
The Tenth Amendment reminds us that governmental power is to remain limited, and that authority ultimately rests with the people—not with unelected bureaucrats or neighbors who attempt to weaponize the system to control every detail of someone else’s private life.
The overwhelming response from Americans across the country regarding Lucy has reinforced exactly that. Thousands of ordinary people from every background have spoken up and challenged what is happening, reminding us that the voice of the people still matters when systems fail to exercise common sense, restraint, or compassion.
Still, somehow, we have reached a point where a family—MY family—can be harassed for years, dragged through the system, publicly slandered, financially devastated, and have their beloved dog taken away over a situation that common sense should have resolved in five minutes.
We are supposed to be a nation where families can raise their children, care for their animals, work their land, and just live without becoming targets.
A free society cannot survive when laws, complaints, and bureaucracy are weaponized against ordinary people simply because others dislike how they live.
Live and let live should not be controversial in America. Yet here we are. Cameras being pointed into our yard. Multiple court visits because of our farm operations. Slander, libel and gossip being used to publicly smear our character and twist the truth. Lucy is locked away today because people, both in government and in our own community, refused to honor the simple principle of live and let live.
Quite frankly—I don’t care what others think about me. We all have to answer to God someday, and that truth is very real to me. I will continue to extend grace and to forgive. But what I will not do is watch my freedoms and those of my family be squashed because of weaponized technicalities of the law and bullies who abuse the system to intimidate and harass.
What has happened to our family should alarm every American—no matter your politics. Perhaps it does—and that is why our Lucy has become “Americas Dog”.
The fight continues—until Lucy is home and beyond. Laws needs to change so this is never allowed to happen to another family again. The future rights of our children depend on it.

Lucy survived ISIS controlled territory, came back to the US with her US Veteran @brendanmjones and due to a busy body neighbor is now sitting in the pound after being labeled a “dangerous dog.” Bring Lucy Home!! #SaveLucy
The DA needs to let Lucy come home. She's done more time than many accused murderers. This is already grossly disproportionate to whatever happened last month - an event over in seconds, that hurt nobody, and occurred entirely in my own yard.
My own damn yard.
She wants this to blow over, but I will not let it. I. WILL. NOT. LET. IT. Not until Lucy is home and the charges are dropped.
She no doubt feels like the victim here. I'm sure she doesn't like the bad PR. But there's one victim here: Lucy. The DA can make all of this end by making the right decision to exercise prosecutorial discretion and drop the case.
Only a handful of Stasi-like creeps support continued prosecution of this case. It is a 99 to 1 issue.
99 to 1.

It has now been one month since Lucy's collar slipped over her head. One month since she was loose in my yard for a few seconds. One month since nobody got hurt. One month since nothing happened.
It has also been one month since the police were called. One month since animal control issued me a court summons. One month since they took my dog, the dog I bonded with in war ten years ago. One month since my world turned into a living hell.
It has been one month since nothing happened. And it has been one month since everything happened, in response to nothing.
She has spent one month in jail. Over nothing. Away from everything. One month away from her fields. Away from Lex. Away from the kids. Away from @Herb_Minstrel and me.
Let her come home. It's been long enough. It's time. It's damn time.
#SaveLucy
