Sad day today as I walk away from the team I formed in 2019.
Unfortunately Sunday amateur is very unforgiving when it comes to encroaching on family time.
The stresses that come with arranging a simple 90 minute game once a week stretch from a Sunday to Sunday
Saturday afternoon

[Woodlands FC @WoodlandsFC3]

Dunky who has stood in countless rainy days and never once grumbled or groused but kept the same passion and commitment from day dot. Our sponsors over the years for all their support (and cash lol) and obviously most of all my wife who has dealt with my ups and downs and mood

I’m gonna give 10 random people that repost this and follow me $25,000 for fun (the $250,000 my X video made)

I’ll pick the winners in 72 hours

The first of a run of 3 tough games for us as we come up against a @bonomyfc2020 side who have only lost 1 in the league this season so far ! 💚🖤@GDSFC2008 @scottish_aff

[Woodlands FC @WoodlandsFC3]

Sore one to take today in a game of missed opportunities and great saves from the opposition keeper … credit to On the Ball , they took their opportunities when they arose but feel we deserved something from the game.Great game for the neutrals 💚🖤 @GDSFC2008 @scottish_aff

[Woodlands FC @WoodlandsFC3]

The big games keep coming as we take on Glasgow on the Ball this Sunday with both teams sitting joint 3rd in the league ! Always a great game and should be a cracker with leap frogging each other in the table at stake 😬💚🖤@GlasgowOn @GDSFC2008 @scottish_aff

[Woodlands FC @WoodlandsFC3]

A far cry from the team who looked like folding at the start of the season … what a bunch of boys and what a result! Mon the f@@king Woodlands 💚🖤💚🖤 @scottish_aff

[Woodlands FC @WoodlandsFC3]

Always one for keeping these post a tad muted …BUT F@@k ME ! WHAT A F@@KING RESULT FOR US TODAY !! Playing against a quality opposition who will no doubt be challenging for the prem title at the end of the season. 1-0 down to dig in and battle back to a 2-1 victory .@GDSFC2008

[Woodlands FC @WoodlandsFC3]

Tough test for the lads today as we take on premiership opposition in the second round of the Scottish Cup 😬💚🖤@GDSFC2008

Came out the traps flying today and got ourselves 3 goals up in around 30mins. Seemed to switch off after that letting Utd get back on level terms early in the second half before we kicked back in to gear to get another few goals .💚🖤@GDSFC2008 @scottish_aff

[Woodlands FC @WoodlandsFC3]

It’s early to bed for the squad on Saturday night as we take on United Glasgow Football Club at 10am on Sunday morning at Petershill Stadium… get those alarms set lads !! 💚🖤@UnitedGlasgowFC @GDSFC2008

[Woodlands FC @WoodlandsFC3]

Was nt to be on Sunday as losing 2 goals against the run of play knocked the wind out of our sails and ending up 3-0 down within 30mins going in at half time 3-1 … a far better performance in the second half 💚🖤
Goals ..
Gavin Maclean with the hat trick 👏

don’t use the word lightly but what a great performance from us today . Played almost the full second half with 10 men and still managed to score a couple and keep ourselves well in control of the game , the squad is gelling and confidence is growing every week ! 💚🖤@GDSFC2008
