ICE violently detain yet another U.S. citizen—this time a minor child.

Family came to pick up the father's car after he was arrested.

Assumed son would be safe—because an American citizen with drivers license.

"I'm a minor," he tells agents.
"He's a minor!" witnesses join in.

Agents grab the 17 year old's hair and try to throw him to the ground.

Then slam him repeatedly against his father's truck—that he had come to retrieve in the first place.

Incident occurred in the Rio Grande Valley, Texas.

This family did everything the right way. After a judge set their next hearing, masked agents tore Rubén Ortiz-López from his wife and sobbing daughter. Monica begged them not to hurt him. ICE supervisor Victor Mojica sneered “adiós,” hurled her across the hallway, slammed her into a wall, then threw her to the floor before her children.

When I was growing up in Wabash, Indiana, I would sit on the floor in front of our TV on Saturday afternoons waiting for the Porter Waggoner show to come on. I couldn’t wait for Dolly to sing.
