As the new year begins, Remember it isn’t a contest. There are no awards & not a competition. Everyone is trying to survive the best they can. Guilt shouldn’t be part of it. Instead, have each other’s back and support each other like a winning team.

Georgia is suspending standardized testing for the upcoming school year & formal teacher evals and are seeking to permanently cut certain tests. This will also save $10's of millions from the budget that can be used toward teacher pay, etc. Let's hope other states step up!

It’s been a long day visiting and delivering diplomas to my kindergarten graduates, but it’s been so much FUN!!! Seeing their little faces light up with excitement, getting hugs, and chatting made the long day worth it!! So proud of these readers, writers and mathematics!!
