Twitter is no longer viable for us so we're not going to be maintaining this account any longer. We'll leave it up as an archive of Woodside's atrocious behaviour. If we move WoodsideWatch elsewhere, we'll come back and let you know, but for now, we're taking a break.
A local punk musician has sprayed yellow paint all over the front of Woodside’s Perth headquarters in an escalation of our protests against Woodside’s Burrup Hub.
DISRUPT BURRUP HUB is demanding no more industry on Murujuga at the Burrup Peninsula in North West WA.
BREAKING ⚡️
Today Joana faced Perth Magistrates Court for her action at the Art Gallery of WA last month.
Joana was convicted of criminal damage and handed down $7,500 in fines and costs for damage.
.@DrDavidHoney, when will you release a media statement on the abhorrent defacing of ancient Murujuga rock art (and the world's climate) by @WoodsideEnergy?
Artists have spray painted iconic painting ‘Down on His Luck’ with the Woodside logo in response to Woodside’s ongoing desecration of sacred Murujuga rock art at the Burrup Hub, Australia’s biggest new fossil fuel project.
They are demanding no more industry on the Burrup.

Remember, the fossil fuel order must be challenged. We need mass movement building & nonviolent direct action. Climate justice is justice for all. Woodside's oppression is part of the broader oppression of capitalism and hierarchy.
@sinkas2 We don't want to produce content owned by Elon Musk, and we're disturbed by the spread of hate and disinformation. The platform feels icky now. Part of us wants to stay and fight the good fight, but we fear it'll be a losing battle.
In Western Australia, new projects would supercharge gas drilling and processing. But traditional owners of the land say their heritage sites are threatened. https://t.co/J1EIkhXvxo
Today, the CEO of 1 of the world's biggest fossil fuel companies, @WoodsideEnergy, launched an extraordinary attack on Australian government for its new policy to help Australians suffering from high gas prices. Australians, Woodside is not on your side. https://t.co/ZGuCnGdVkb
@WoodsideWatch Woodside intends to dump its briny waste from desal into Tamar River @SenatorSurfer Time for public to get serious about Woodside’s plans in Tasmania. Marine biologists needed to respond to this EPBC referral. @BobBrownFndn#politas
Attn @WoodsideWatch, Woodside has just EPBC referred its hydrogen facility at Bell Bay. 10 days for public consultation will end before Christmas. We need guarantee @HydroTasmania will not sell energy at below market rate. No subsidised bulk power contracts. @TasInquirer#politas
This is a serious setback for Perdaman, which plans to use gas supplied by Woodside's Burrup Hub to produce urea on Murujuga. Construction would involve removing sacred Aboriginal heritage sites.
Time to reevaluate this project and all Burrup industry.

Ahead of the @freodockers AGM @AusConservation have had over 5,000 Australians sign their petition calling on the Fremantle board to drop Fossil fuel company Woodside as their major sponsor #ForeverFreo https://t.co/ljkYeeHaWt
We salute the Burrup Five. Sadly, this Magistrate has shown a shocking lack of climate literacy. It is very clear that Woodside's plans on the Burrup are totally out of line with global targets for limiting the worst impacts of the climate crisis. https://t.co/9aWmCiHkyf
