Unfortunately impeding a keeper is always going to take precedent here as if he isn't impeded he catches it and the move is done

The movies were great, but by there own time limits they couldn't possibly adapt everything. Making a TV series gives hours more screen time to fully adapt loads they couldn't with the films.
You can think the films perfect and still want the TV show
