@Brakes_Food congratulations on the WORST customer service I’ve had in 30 years in hospitality.
Our depot is not delivering for another 8 days, with no alternative, not even a phone call to let me know and the only solution was ‘go to the supermarket’
@PaulWil59606211@David__Osland There’s your answer to why there are huge staff shortages in the NHS. Affordable housing stock sold and not replaced for decades, we’re now seeing the repercussions. Huge investment in affordable housing is needed, but in the mean time people need to be able to pay rent!
Bread Golf is back for its 11th year this Sunday 2nd Oct! ⛳

As promised.
We forced the Government to release their own Impact Assessment, as part of their defence.
Their own report was damning.
No wonder they had to revert to stalling tactics.
Thread:
@DelTrotter9@Sacha_Lord The issue is Licensing. As licensed premises, anything deemed as ‘illegal’ would likely see us losing our liquor licence and therefore our business.
How can it be ok to reopen theatres, sports grounds and cinemas and let them sell alcohol without table meals - but I cannot sit outside a pub or restaurant and have a drink with my sister
£1k is a drop in the ocean compared to lost sales for Christmas - far less than a day’s trade. It is also only going to pubs which do no food leaving those with a mix of sales, restaurants and cafes in tier 3 who are also closed empty handed. Time for a rethink on grants
Parliament : Overturn the current ruling against Pubs being restricted from selling Takeaway Alcohol - Sign the Petition! https://t.co/FbIKGky5h1 via @UKChange
@boatuber @ian_stamp @labourlewis Actually you will find that most of us hold an ‘on’ and ‘off’ licence. If the drinks are sold in sealed containers, genuinely for take away, then it is no different from buying cans at a supermarket.
The only way you will be allowed to get a take away meal and a bottle of wine is to visit two separate business’ interact with more people and do your bit to keep the R high whilst decimating hospitality further @BorisJohnson@UKHospKate@EdwardJDavey
So supermarkets can sell booze by the pallet-load throughout lockdown, whilst poor embattled hospitality operators can switch to takeaway and delivery of food but NOT alcohol? Why does our government hate pubs when they never miss an ingratiating photo-op in one?
@teakayke@northerness People were buying beers in supermarkets and drinking them in parks, does this not amount to the same thing? I also very much doubt that it will be a massive issue in November!!
A compliant media has allowed Boris Johnson to get away with lie after lie after lie. If you think this shocking exposé of lies told during his first 12 months as Prime Minister should be shown on every UK news channel share it as widely as possible
@EdwardJDavey can you clarify the idiocy of allowing big business supermarkets to sell ‘take away’ alcohol (in closed containers) whilst stopping small business pubs and restaurants from doing the same? @UKHospKate@RBKingston@BorisJohnson#Lockdown2
