4 years ago today I had my last ever shift as a nursing student.
Today I got my results for the PGcert I’ve been undertaking for the past 12 months in Critical Care Nursing.

Healthcare professionals. I need your help.
I have just been told that platelets should never be administered through a pump.
“Because it damages the platelets”
1. Is this true?
2. I need evidence either way.

Am I alone in thinking it is wrong for consultants to strike? Nurses, paramedics, junior doctors, yes, they are just ‘workers’ but consultants are senior leaders, just like senior managers. They demean themselves by striking.
