@UpperbrookFarm & Harmeny Woolen Mill, purebred North Country Cheviots offer all things sheep: breeding stock, freezer lamb, cozy wool comforters and more.
As we continue to better understand the implications of #COVID19, I stand with all those affected here in Canada and abroad. I urge @JustinTrudeau and all world leaders to work together in response to this global issue & ensure our world’s most vulnerable are supported. |
Did you know the @TruroMarket is reducing waste in SO many ways? They have real dishes and cutlery for food vendors to use on site, waste sorting stations, reusable bags, no plastic straws, and are destined for no single use plastic by April! Retweet to show some love #zerowaste
@woolismybread Caring for my Mom in what may be her last year here on the farm. I appreciate the tweets of much ❤️ for our Moms and sympathies to you etc all.
Pumpkin waffle, apple compote, and candied pecans - find this treat at the Market Fare Dinner at @TruroMarket this Wednesday! This event is the first of a market event series sponsored by Select NS, who are helping to offer student tickets for $10! #everydaylocal
Fibresheds...good to raise awareness of the wool, alpaca etc being utilized locally but not so good at raising awareness of that which is thrown away or burned. Even if it is shipped overseas it’s some money in farmers’ pockets and not wasted... in my opinion.
@jannarden Very well said. Our family is going through a similar situation and I realize everyone’s is different. Thank you for saying what we/I cannot so eloquently say.
@MarketFreshNS @NSFA @TruroMarket @HfxSeaportMrkt Thank you for the shout out, we certainly do our best to ensure happy healthy animals, land, rivers. We also Custom process a product(wool) that is often thrown away, making beautiful cozy bedding etc. Hats off to the wonderful markets in NS to continue to support local farms.
