Many of you know that sitting behind Woolsack is 1 sheep farmer in Orkney. Orkney has now been dragged into actions of Russia & their invasion of Ukraine so temporarily with apologies tweets on this as well as wool/knitting etc

Solidwool produces a sustainable composite material made from British wool and bio-resin. This material is used in applications such as furniture, interior finishes, and homeware products.

Loop Technology Ltd carried out a feasibility study to assess the effectiveness of its RoboMACH HA robotic machining system in trimming excess bio-resin from the edges of Solidwool's chairs following the moulding process.

Hoggs clipped this week. These are year old females, now shearlings. This is the biggest and best fleece they grow; next year they’ll be rearing lambs and will grow less #wool.

Hopefully as people are becoming more eco conscious demand will increase 🤞🏻
