Content is not king!

Marketers believe the more content you create the better off you are.

But one number tells a different story.

4.6 billion.

It’s the number of pieces of content that are produced each day.

Just think about that...

We also check our phones 110 times a day in hopes of finding that piece of content that really resonates with us.

But there is no way we consume all that content.

The good stuff gets all the attention, and the crap (which is the majority gets ignored).

And it’s just going to get worse with AI.

AI has made it easier to create content.

So does it mean you should stop creating content?

No.

People are still craving content and it is worth creating if...

You have something new to say. No one wants to read the same old stuff over and over again.

And if people get value from your content. If someone learned something new or can take action on something because of what you wrote, great. Or if they just get entertainment, that's fine too.

So stop focusing on creating content because everyone else is doing it. Focus on creating amazing content.

And only amazing content.

It’s the only way to get attention and stand out from the 4.6 billion pieces of newly published content.
