One of my favorite features of The Week magazine is The Book List. Each week a different author selects six worthy books. Idea: have students emulate this. What 6 books (or movies, or video games...) do they recommend? Write 3-4 sentence blurbs for each.
⌨️ You can get quick access to an emoji picker on a Windows, Mac, or Chromebook computer with a keyboard shortcut. Be sure your cursor is placed where you can input text. 💻😁👍

Rigor is a bad word when it’s the same bar for every learner. True rigor is different for every learner and changes based on skill level, conditions, and desire to master the task.
✨ Encourage active brainstorming by playing Magic Word. #r2scms
Tip: Have groups record their ideas into a Google Form & submit when time is up. You can make a copy of my Magic Word template:

😲 You can put text, emojis, and/or images on a wheel, and you can save wheels to Google Drive.
