“Any game we go into, we want to approach it the right way. I think that’s what’s made us so successful these last couple of years. We just want to be present, no matter who we play. Again, I think it’s a great challenge, especially this early.”

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is climbing the all-time blocks list for guards. 👀⚡️

With 425 career blocks, SGA is tied with Jason Kidd for 2nd all-time among point guards.

John Wall leads all point guards with 439, while Dwyane Wade holds the overall guard record — a mark Shai is on pace to pass.

SGA keeps making his mark on both ends. 😤

Get Up reacts to OKC beating the Spurs:

“This game to me felt like a referendum on the Thunder reminding everybody, ‘We’re still the team.’ Everyone got swept up, certainly here, and the Knicks are what they are, so the whole world forgot about Oklahoma City.

The reality was Oklahoma City saying, ‘Hey, if we’d been healthy last year, it still would have been us. We hate these guys. We’re better than them. We lost to them in seven without our second-best player.’

To me, this felt like a night where the Thunder were making a statement.” ⚡️
