I find it weird that a lot of people these days want someone to love them, maybe that's why it's so hard sticking with someone is, because you don't care about the person, you're just chasing a feeling, and anybody that can give you that feeling would do.
Just because you don't understand something, doesn't give you the right to deny its existence. What exists will exist irrespective of anyone's understanding.

Why do physically abusive relationships elicit more sympathy from people than emotionally abusive relationships? Are the wounds that are visible, only they matter? Which wounds, inside or outside, scar you more?
What makes a person stay in a physically abusive relationship? Maybe, the same thing that makes a person stay in any relationship, love. Love gives you hope, hope that one day that person will change, or it's a temporary phase, or you're too blinded by the past to see the present
