About me: what I've done and what I'm doing. A short 🧵

[JRM @WordsByJRM]

GM! I hope you all slept well and didn't spent the night stuck on a cliff like the guy I went walking with yesterday. He was rescued this morning and is on the way to hospital now.

[JRM @WordsByJRM]

GM! Lovely day on the lagoon, no flamingoes this time of year though.

[JRM @WordsByJRM]

@msbourland @paranoidhill @iteration80 @paraxenod A beautiful selection! Fine acquisitions and so lovely to read your explanations.

Another beautiful day in Albania.

[JRM @WordsByJRM]

GM everyone!

David is a talented writer and does a lot for the space. This is an excellent poem of his, you should give it a watch.

[David Jones @thestorydj]

Dropped a new NFT poem!! My second piece on @foundation is a spoken word, animated + illustrated poem about free will + determinism. Do we really have any control over our actions, thoughts and decisions, or are we all on our own Judas Trip? Full vid is too long for Twitter ⤵️ ⤵️

GM from Berat! Just been scored at chess by old men in the park, heading to the winery for lunch then off to look at some houses for sale. I hope all of you have equally exciting days ahead!

[JRM @WordsByJRM]

GM!

[JRM @WordsByJRM]

@msbourland It's wonderful to be back. The women in the bakery were super excited to see me again.

Clothes shop Albanian-style.

Loving being back in Shkodër. This is actually the worse view from the castle.

[JRM @WordsByJRM]

Scotland 1-1 Poland.

Not the World Cup playoff versus Ukraine that we were hoping for, but always good to see Steve Clarke's boys in action.

£500,000 raised your UNICEF's Ukraine fund as well. Everyone's a winner.

[JRM @WordsByJRM]

@ricgalbraith Well it starts with Scotland vs Poland at Hampden tonight and continues with an overdue return to Albania. I hope your following days and weeks are similarly filled with excitement!

[JRM @WordsByJRM]

@DiwaPh Absolutely. The amount of little tales, character traits, settings and backstory I've gleaned from my travels is innumerable.

File under: overlooked aspects of artistic life.

[David Jones @thestorydj]

Things that money buys (and why artists should want as much money as possible)

- Time (to make more art)
- Experiences (for personal enrichment and to inspire art)
- Security (to give a space to make art and peace of mind)
- Freedom (to live life on your terms)

So yeah money

I'm quite proud of how this turned out. A ten-minute long story about chaos, a purposeless life and surfing, set in Guatemala. I hope you enjoy it 🙂

@sashastiles I really did enjoy it. The words, the music, the visuals. All creating an end result more than the sum of its parts.

[JRM @WordsByJRM]

Wow. Incredible execution, nailed every aspect. Bookmarked to listen again and again over the coming days and months.
