CNN: “Stephen, estamos intentando humanizar el debate...”

Miller: “¿Humanizar? Entonces humanicemos el Código Penal también. El ladrón de banco pasa a ser ‘especialista en retiros sin cita previa’. El estafador se convierte en ‘emprendedor de narrativas financieras alternativas’. El tipo que entra en tu casa sin invitación es solo un ‘visitante con documentación pendiente’. ¿Qué tal?”

CNN: “Eso es una analogía burda.”

Miller: “Burda es fingir que la ley federal desaparece porque la redacción de CNN inventó un eufemismo más bonito. ‘Sin documentos’ suena como alguien que olvidó la billetera en Uber. No. Es alguien que cruzó la frontera sin autorización, se quedó, y ahora la prensa trata el estatuto legal como si fuera una cuestión de estilo de escritura.”

CNN: “Pero muchos contribuyen a la economía...”

Miller: “Ah, el argumento clásico: el crimen deja de ser crimen si la persona lava platos o construye techos. Por el mismo criterio, el contrabandista de cigarrillos también ‘contribuye’, genera empleo en el transporte. ¿Quieren que lo llamemos ‘emprendedor logístico informal’? ¿CNN se apunta?”

CNN: “Estás polarizando.”

Miller: “No. Me estoy negando a aceptar el diccionario de marketing. Cambian la palabra, luego acusan a quien usa el término legal de ser ‘inhumano’. Es el truco más viejo del libro: primero suavizan el vocabulario, luego declaran victoria moral. Estados Unidos ya está harto de este teatro. Llámenlo por su nombre. O admitan que el objetivo nunca fue claridad — fue control de la narrativa.”

Quiero que Vean este video Esto fue un like que yo hice ahorita a las aproximadamente 7:40 casi las 8 de la noche yo estaba en el puente de dos hermanos y esta gente la huelguita nos atacaron a las personas que estábamos allí en los carros y con un salvajismo brutal cuando abrí el cristal habla olían alcohol con una cara de drogados que tenían una agresividad eso no era para nada una huelga pacífica eso es una basura nadie los va a respetar de esa forma a nadie los va a escuchar de esa manera no sirven atropellan los derechos de las personas de los ciudadanos que los apoyan y que ustedes necesitan el apoyo de esas personas se portaron como unos salvajes y yo espero que les caiga tanto gas y tanto gas que no puedan respirar por el resto de la semana por habernos atacado a nosotros a los ciudadanos.

Eats the best food, stays in top notch accomodations. Excursions, tours, nicest beaches, etc.

Great guy, I'm happy for him.

But what I've realized is that without kids, you end up chasing a lifestyle that has to continually be topped in order for you to be satisfied and find happiness.

What he and others like him don't understand is that when you have children, seeing THEM experience life's most basic things and watching their eyes light up at all the "firsts", brings greater pleasure and joy than any vacation or travel experience ever could.

Seeing THEM try blueberries for the first time is greater than dining at the best 5 star restaurant in Europe.

Seeing THEM learn how to walk is greater than walking the Great Wall of China or strolling along the most picturesque beach.

Watching THEM giggle uncontrollably at "peek-a-boo" tops any A-list comedian act.

Seeing THEIR excitement when building a fort out of cardboard boxes and making a door big enough for daddy is superior to staying at 5-star resorts.

Flying kites with THEM far outweighs excursions like parasailing or helicopter rides.

Seeing THEM perform a recital on stage for the first time is more rewarding than watching a Broadway show or top notch symphony orchestra.

When you have children, all of a sudden you realize that life's greatest joys are not in the pursuit of things or pleasure or travel, but rather in the LOVE and bond you share with your very own image bearers.

Seeing the beauty and magnificence and wonder of life all over again for the first time through THEIR eyes and expressions gives you something the world simply cannot offer, nor even come close.
