@Global_Mess@DanielHewittITV@Shelter@itvnews And when mortgages are more than rental income, landlords will sell. Landlords are already leaving the sector in droves thanks to Section 24. Until social housing is reformed and more housing built, renting in this country will never be fixed. Landlord bashing is not a solution.
@snomi Hi Simon. My husband has emailed without response. We urgently need to contact Anne & Steve. If this is the wrong Simon then apologies, but please let us know either way. All the best.
Despite claims that customer service has improved, I’m dubious. Can @hermesparcels enlighten me as to the whereabouts of my parcel ordered one month ago today? Website tracking is useless, not updated since 1 March.
@FCOtravel are you planning on making an announcement today? Appreciate you can’t give details but would be helpful to know if there’s going to be an update or not.
@BenkersBen @siclarke9 @SHbangsthedrums Thanks Ben. Have checked already and we’re covered if we’ve already departed. Although trip curtailment is not covered (in the event Govt advice is to come home immediately). This seems doubtful tho as didn’t happen in previous cases and I’m assuming quarantine mitigates this
@SHbangsthedrums @siclarke9 @BenkersBen Totally agree. We can manage the quarantine, we’re not even going to a major city. Feel the risk is similar to living in the UK.
@SHbangsthedrums @siclarke9 @BenkersBen I called my insurer and they said that it goes by your departure time. So if you've already set sail, you should be covered. But I don't know if that applies to all insurers across the board.
@BenkersBen @siclarke9 Hi Ben, we're in the same boat (literally, as going by ferry!) as @siclarke9 and I'm still not clear if FCO announcement is immediate while quarantine deadline may be 24 hours off. It matters to us from an insurance perspective. Do you have any thoughts? thanks!
