I just applied to the Original Content Rewards program.

X forces you to select 10 posts from an X pre-selected list of your posts to determine if your work is "original."

The backbone of my account is original long-form X articles and original photography.

95% of the choices X gave me to select from were throw away, random quote posts I made.

We'll see what happens with me, but this will likely have the effect of minimizing reposting and quote posting across the platform, reducing the "social" in social media.

I'm not sure that an X consisting solely of articles and videos that nobody ever quote posts is what they were trying to achieve.

I bet you guys elon musk knows what he's doing, you pay for verified badge and majority of your posts gets little impressions, unverified accounts getting thousands of impressions and eventually when you get the threshold, you will be ineligible for monetization
