@DDiabhal @wifeguyyuta It's just a strange idea to me, because every gay bar or queer night or pride event I went to, no one ever asked me if I was straight, like there was a test to get in & have fun/do the work. I never realized I wasn't supposed to be there - no one told me "no straights allowed!"

I've never observed any issues w/queer couples, but a) I'm a straight (so you hate me, seems) & might be missing it in my privilege and b) I mostly went out in college towns in the North so....

When you explain and people think it's an "attack" that says more about their incomprehension than anything else. Yes, my sweet summer southern child, homes in the North are built differently (to conserve heat) because it's cold up there a lot. It's not "bragging". It's fact.
