As I move back into full-time streaming, one thing I want to make clear: I have no interest in joining stream teams on Twitch going forward.
That’s not me saying stream teams are bad. I know they work well for some creators and I respect that. But for me personally, the experience just hasn’t been what I needed. Too often they came with unnecessary drama, pressure, or the feeling that I had to “fit in” instead of just focusing on my content and community.
That being said, I do want to give credit where it’s due. There were two teams I was part of that truly felt special: Drip Squad on Twitch, run by @biggysweats , and Team Infinite on Mixer, run by @WorkDaddyTV . Those were the last true teams that really stood out to me. They were about genuine support, real community, and creators lifting each other up—and I’ll always remember them for that.
Going forward though, my focus is on building my own community. The Phoenix Army has always been the core of what I do, and that’s all the team I’ll ever need. Authentic connections and genuine support matter more to me than any badge, tag, or roster ever could.
