Sarah Newton explained that the increased remit for the @H_S_E on issues such as building safety, chemical regulations and challenges posed by Covid-19, have all received additional funding from Government and should not affect the HSE's continued focus on this work.

Helen Balmforth from the HSE said they are looking at ways in which the HSE can collect new data through technology. She says often issues arise not as a result of a lack of data but how this data is used.
