Jaime Jaquez o2.5 FTA

Wisconsin sports will have a day tomorrow. Bucks home opener & Brewers World Series, but you know who else will have a day? Jaime Jaquez at the free throw line. Chicago last game against Toronto gave up 46 free throws. Yes you read that right. Now are the Bucks even close as good as the Raptors? No. However when your a bad free throw team of course there will be disparities in who you play but Milwaukee should still as a team attempt between 15-20 free throws. Especially due to the different lineups that’ll be put together and not being a great shooting team playing at home. Jaquez seems to be the only one consistently driving to the basket attempting 6 free throws in his Bucks debut. 2.5 is too low of a number for him, even last year he averaged 2.9 FTA off the bench. Now he has more opportunities to have the ball in his hands & more minutes as well.

What’s our rule? If you’re unbiased about your favorite sports team bet on them. So we have another Milwaukee Bucks prop. Jakučionis was shockingly the 6th man off the bench and even closed the game. He was aggressive and not afraid to attack, which shocked me due to his ability to be a good playmaker. Good off the ball & made every Bucks fan forget about why we released Kevin Porter Jr. Due to his strong start he played more minutes than Ryan Rollins, I’m not expecting him to get 26 minutes again (had 21 PRA). Yet knowing if he continues to play good Taylor Jenkins will give him 25-30 minutes is a good sign for coach trust in him. He’s up against a Chicago teams that looks just as bad as Milwaukee. Expect high scoring and youth vs youth (= take overs)

No Kon Knueppel or Coby White = Reid will let it fly. Reid had 10 3PA in his debut as a Charlotte Hornet and we should expect him to continue having the green light. Even in preseason he averaged 6 3PA in 21.5 minutes. Hes up against an Atlanta Hawks team who looked horrible defensively vs Orlando. They gave up 125 points and 40 3PA, now facing a high paced Charlotte team who’s known for letting it fly from three we can expect similar results.

Alex Sarr u14.5 points + assists

This prop is an eye test type of ting. Sarr was not involved in the offense whatsoever, in fact it was so bad that he forced 3 three point attempts. With Anthony Davis starting at the 4 we saw a lot of the offense run around him. Which meant him at the top of the key either going 1 v 1 or designed plays. In those designed plays we saw actions on both sides with it basically being a 5 out base set. This allows guards to great mismatches on the wing/back door cuts/bigs advantage on guards in the post. Issue is Toronto is amazing defensively so all that switching and off ball action isn’t gonna cut it. Assist wise Sarr isn’t getting plays drawn up for him, one of his two assists was from an offensive rebound then quick dish to AD. In fact he had only 2 potential assists on 23 total passes which if you didn’t know is terrible.

Fun fact ! Pelicans have won eight straight meetings with the Jazz dating back to the 2023-24 season. Another fun fact? Will Hardy is a terrible coach. Without Nurkic he’s clueless how to run the offense and lose a lot of rebounding. Defensively they look out of sorts and both sides of things it looks like chemistry is an issue. Very easy to see in transition getting kilt every chance given. Guard wise it’s so bad defensively they just let Ty Jerome score 45 points, Dejounte Murray + Fears will be eating goooood. Even though New Orleans blew a double digit 4Q lead in my opinion they didn’t look that bad and it was just a collapse.

The greatest white backcourt of all time has entered the chat. Without LeBron we’re gonna see Reaves take over more of the ball handing duties. Against Golden State we saw a lot of this leading the team in passes made & potential assists. After the game Redick talked about Reaves playmaking saying that he runs the show and will continue to try to make easier ways for him to be the best player maker possible. He had 6 assists (31 minutes) in a blowout win against Golden State, and now they’re up against a Clippers team who looks a lot different from last season. Even though they looked great defensively against the Kings so would a G League team. Tomorrow is the real test for the Clippers.

He had a team high last game +20 +/- & scoring 20 points vs San Antonio. Spurs have x10 the defensive backcourt the Nuggets have & without Isaiah Joe/Aaron Wiggins/Lu Dort shot opportunities and minutes have gone up. Why else do I like this prop? Using the Moneyball feature on Chalkboard, what is it? 3pt shots count as 4 points. Where does McCain like to shoot? THREES !!!! Speaking of the road he’s hit this in 11/17 (65%) career starts & have thrown 6 interceptions in 3 road games this year already.
