@TheOfficeGroup's Co-Founder Charlie anticipates that there will still b demand from smaller & new business (this can be price sensitive).
And corporates will think harder about taking their space & how they understand their risk management.
#officespace
Jonny Rosenblatt,@spacemade_co:
"We have to find very clear ways of bringing people into the office - that's competing with someone's home - we have to make it a better experience than their own front room. The #flex industry has had to become more flex than ever"
#flexspace
Our final session at #WorkSpacePW determines what’s next for the flexible office market as demand grows with @IWGplc_, @spacemade_co, @TheOfficeGroup.
They will be breaking down what's driving the unique appeal & growth in flex space & what are the big trends shaping the sector?
Alex Keates ,@caafoundation:
"One crucial thing is to not expect everyone to be the same. Someone who is anxious may not want to be sat next to someone new each week, compared to a 'social butterfly' who may need company & frequent change to keep from getting distracted."
Colin Macgadie @wearebdg, & Alex Keates @caafoundation, are at #WorkSpacePW exploring considerations around design, collaborative multi-use spaces, and #ESG, to meet the needs of the people & the planet.
Interviewer: Mark Ferguson, Director @AuraFutures#WorkSpacePW
Alex Keates ,@caafoundation:
"Appetite for environmentally conscious materials is at an all time high, clients have concerns & questions. They are more comfortable asking about #carbonfootprint, why the business operates the way it does & what it's actively doing to improve"
@SamDylanJackman took part in an energising discussion about the workspace needs and wants of employers, employees and building owners at #WorksSpacePW. The consensus is that the 'losers' will be those who don't accept the workplace has to change.

Q: What's the most interesting #workspacedesign you have seen?
Sarah-Jane Osbourne, @AvisonYoung:
"Social stairs - this was a design research study, an interactive staircase, used as an Experiential Design Landscape to evoke physically active behaviour in people"
Sarah-Jane Osbourne,@AvisonYoung:
We've realised how much we are connectors during the #pandemic - we're now reconnecting with that desire. Time in the office now offers us ways to socialise which can be really useful to 18-45-year-olds living at home ALONE - 'solo dwellers'.
Zach Douglas, CEO, @OregaOffices:
In the mid-90s - 80% of space was 'sellable' now it's between 65 - 70% & the finishing on recreational & lounge areas is of higher quality to meet aesthetic requirements
