On Monday, September 26, 2022, Vice President, Dr Mahamadu Bawumia commissioned the rehabilitated Cape Coast Inner City Road Project.

The 22km project is part of the Master Project Support Agreement with Sinohydro Coorporation of China.

In an attempt to revamp the railway system in Ghana, the government has signed an agreement worth $3.2 billion with Messrs Thelo DB of South Africa and Transtech Consult Limited to upgrade the Western Rail Line. As a developing country , this is a great news

The furnace will produce 3,000 barrels of refined oil per day and it's impact will be on fuel availability and pricing. The future is refining our locally produced crude to improve our mid-stream oil and gas position.

The project includes the construction of three new bridges at the Kulaa River at Bolga (30% completed), the Red Volta River at Tilli (80% completed), and the White Volta River at Kobore (yet to start).

In addition, two by-passes will be built at Bawku (15 km) and Pusiga (6.9km).

Progress of work on the Bolgatanga -Bawku - Polimakom road project. Currently, 70km of the road has been completed and opened to traffic.
The 117.94km project runs through the Bolgatanga Central, Bolgatanga East, Nabdam, Zebilla, Binduri, Bawku Central, and Pusiga constituencies.
