there is an entire world of independent rock music that is not on the same 5 labels, covered by the same 4 publications, managed by the same 8 managers, worked by the same 6 publicists and yet – believe it or not – this music reaches and moves millions and millions of people
I snap myself awake. Something is different. I feel as if a time loop is breaking.
Something is sticking out from underneath my cuff. I unroll my sleeve slowly. It’s a tattoo. It reads
“RECYCLE JOKES”
I faint.

What they don’t tell you about space travel is that it’s…boring. Absolute vastness ricochets from being moving to maddeningly banal.
Go look at the stars tonight. See how long it takes before you step back inside.
I catch my reflection in the pod window. Its all one big joke

Me:
have you ever had a joke that
that you, um, you had, you'll, you would, you could, you do, you would you want you
you could do some…that you wanted to recycle so much you’d do anything?
